Big defence boost! Army inks $468 million deal with UK-based Thales for Light Weight Modular Missile - all you need to know

The Indian Army has contracted with Thales UK for the procurement of Light Weight Modular Missile (LMM) systems. This acquisition aims to significantly enhance air defence capabilities, with missiles and launchers to be manufactured in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The LMM is a man-portable, supersonic system effective against various aerial threats up to 6 km.
