NCLT initiates insolvency against Himalayan Mineral Water

The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) has ordered the initiation of insolvency proceedings against Himalayan Mineral Waters. This decision comes as a response to Jammu & Kashmir Bank's plea regarding the default of a corporate guarantee provided for LeeL Electricals. The Allahabad bench of NCLT has appointed Bhoopesh Gupta as the interim resolution professional (IRP). Gupta will oversee the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) for this Dehradun-based company.
