Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury criticizes the flawed process of appointing election commissioners, highlighting procedural issues, lack of shortlisting, and rapid resignations, while opposing govt's influence and specific candidate nominations. Giving details of the meeting of the collegium that took place on Thursday, Chowdhury said he had no option but to be a bystander to the proceedings and registered his protest against two names proposed by govt for posts of EC.
