This decision comes after the recent ban on cane juice for ethanol production. Sugar mills and oil marketing companies will decide the share. The sugar industry had raised concerns as many distilleries were sugarcane-based. The government will review the situation in a month or two.

Implemented through the Quick Pass mobile app, this initiative aims to reduce harassment and improve traffic compliance efficiency. The QR codes are valid for 12 hours.
