After being in a higher moderate category for the last few days, Mumbai's air quality index (AQI) rose to almost near a poor mark (196) of 200 on Thursday thus further deteriorating the air quality Mumbaikars breathed. AQI is nothing but the concentration of carcinogenic PM2.5 in air.
