'You have police, why didn't you stop firecrackers': Gopal Rai questions BJP on firecracker violations

Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai has accused Bharatiya Janata Party leaders of promoting the bursting of firecrackers on Diwali, leading to increased pollution in the city. The air quality in parts of Delhi remained in the 'Severe' category on Tuesday morning, with smog affecting visibility. Rai criticized BJP leaders for trying to hide their mistakes and questioned why firecrackers were being burst despite the ban imposed by the Supreme Court. He also announced that restrictions on private vehicles in Delhi would continue.
