Telangana assembly polls: Some families 'more equal than others' for political parties, given two tickets

The upcoming Assembly election in Telangana has seen a trend of family members entering politics. Members from ruling party BRS, like Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, his son K T Rama Rao, and nephew T Harish Rao, are all seeking re-election. The opposition Congress has also fielded candidates like MP N Uttam Kumar Reddy and his wife N Padmavati. This trend has sparked criticism from some, while others believe that dynastic politics is a reality that must be accepted.
