This is the first time an Indian court has been approached for the release of flight data in an accident case. The petitioner argues that the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) overlooked a crucial aspect in its final report. The weight of the aircraft is being questioned, as it may have been heavier than recorded.
