Former Mumbai mayor Datta Dalvi arrested for alleged offensive remarks against CM Eknath Shinde

On Wednesday morning, Datta Dalvi, the ex-Mayor of Mumbai and leader of Shiv Sena (UBT), was apprehended on charges of employing offensive language and making inappropriate comments directed at CM Eknath Shinde during a public gathering on Monday. Law enforcement confirmed Dalvi's arrest on Wednesday and subsequently presented him before the local court, where he was remanded to judicial custody until December 12. According to the complaint, Dalvi allegedly used foul language against CM Shinde at a gathering of Sena’s (UBT) Konkan office-bearers.
