Off-duty police inspector shot at while playing cricket in Srinagar, critical

An off-duty police inspector in Jammu and Kashmir, Masroor Ahmad Wani, was critically injured when a terrorist attacked him while he was playing cricket with friends. This marks the first attack on an off-duty cop in the region this year. The attacker, identified as Basit Dar from Kulgam, is associated with the Pakistan-backed Lashkar-e-Taiba's covert branch, The Resistance Force. The police have launched a search operation to apprehend the attacker, and authorities believe they will catch him soon. The attack was claimed by The Resistance Force, accusing Wani of mistreating civilians.
