FBI files uncover plot to kill UK's Queen Elizabeth II

FBI documents reveal a potential assassination plot against Queen Elizabeth II during her visit to California in 1983. The threat followed a call from a man who claimed his daughter had been killed in Northern Ireland and referenced a bar commonly frequented by sympathizers of the Irish Republican Army (IRA). The FBI was also aware of the constant threat against the British monarchy from the IRA.
